Question No.1:  

You are required to write a code that will first clear the screen and then display your VU id on Top Left corner as you will type it. Once you have finished typing your VU id you will press Enter key and you will exit from your program,

Note 1:You will use keyboard controller and interrupt chaining to display VU id as you will type it

Note 2:keep name of assembly file according to your VU id , i.e. if your VU id is BC123456789 , you will keep name of the assembly code file as 23456789.asm i.e. you will use last 8 digits of your id for the source code file name.

Note 3:If the VU id typed on screen, files names or the screen shots will not be according to your VU id you will get zero marks

Note 4:Scan codes are given at https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa299374(v=vs.60).aspx

Note 5:You will submit code and five screen shots in Microsoft Word file as shown below.

Example Run/Solution:

Let’s say you id is BC123456789,

First you will make your source code file as 2345678.asm, and then you will assemble the code. Your first screen shot should look like this

 

Then you will enter the name of file on the command prompt to run you program and 2nd screen shot should look like this

Then you will press Enter key and screen be cleared as your program will start

Once you are in your program you will start typing your VUID, and you will take the forth screen shot.

and once you have typed your VU ID you will press enter to end the program and take fifth screen shot
