Question No. 1:
A software house is currently working on a project of developing transaction management system for a bank. The development is currently in initial phase and the project manager is gathering requirements from the client. Such systems are usually very complex and require a lot of cost and minimum 6 months to complete. The client has provided a set of requirements for this project. The list of requirements given by client is as follow:
The fully working system after testing should be deployed in 10 days.
The system must be reliable.
Any user can access the system without any authentication.
The system should handle at least 10 transactions in 10 seconds for which supporting technology must be integrated.
The data center used for this system shall be capable of withstanding a severe fire. It shall also be capable of withstanding a flood.

You are required to identify good and bad requirements from above mentioned list.

Online library system is a web based application which is designed and developed for receipt and issuance of books along with borrower detail and history.
A software house is currently working on a project of developing online library system for an educational institute. This online library system will provide a single interface for a number of databases of articles by joining different libraries. Students can search for books, journals and articles, download and print these articles for personal study using this system. This system should be user friendly, reliable and time saving. Students can do online reservation for books. Any unauthorized person should not be allowed to access the system.
Identify at least five functional requirements for this type of library system.
