Therefore, try to make solution by yourself and protect your work from other students, otherwise you and the student who send same solution file as you will be given zero marks.
•       Also remember that you are supposed to submit your assignment in Word format any other like scan images, HTML etc. will not be accepted and we will give zero marks correspond to these assignments.

Question No.1:

Using Newton-Raphson method approximates the root of the following equation in the interval (0, 1)up to the three decimal places.
f ( x ) = 3 xcos x1

Note: All the calculations should be in radian.

Question No.2:

Using Regula Falsi method approximates the root of the following equation up to four decimal places.
F (x) = x e x
Note: The following graph of above equation can be very helpful in finding the interval of the root. So, I am not mentioning the interval there as mentioned above. So, try to find the appropriate interval then apply the method. Otherwise, the convergence would be very slow.
